Client Overview
Hairless Hare Brewery is a local craft brewery recognized for its community focused atmosphere and diverse selection of handcrafted beers. As the brewery has grown, they have sought new ways to strengthen customer loyalty and provide additional value to their regulars. One of their goals was to implement a membership based rewards program to enhance the customer experience and streamline the process of tracking “Ugly Mug Club” members, eliminating the need for manual checks.
Project Overview
The goal of this project was to research and design a custom membership application that could support Hairless Hare Brewery’s loyalty and rewards program. Our team explored the functionality of TapWyse and its potential integration with the brewery’s POS system. Acting as third-party consultants, we analyzed system capabilities, evaluated integration options, and proposed a membership solution that would be easy for both customers and staff to use during normal and peak business hours.
Sprint 1
- Focused on understanding requirements of Hairless Hare and research
- Conducted interviews with staff to gather insight on pain points
- Pivoted from POS system to custom membership application
Sprint 2
- Researched technical aspects of proposed membership application
- Discovered the partnership between TapWyse and Arryved
- Met with contact at TapWyse regarding functionality and price points
Sprint 3
- Created a presentation showing benefits, features, and implementation plan for TapWyse integration
- Met with the Hare, addressed questions, and gathered more details from TapWyse
- Provided solutions and customization options for brewery's needs
Our Role as Consultants
We maintained strong communication with Hairless Hare Brewery, gaining insight into their operations while building real world experience in research, system integration, and membership design. The project strengthened our skills in project management, communication, and adaptability, and we delivered clear recommendations to support their future decisions.
